Tagged Fish in the Parks
This program, in its third year, aims to inspire kids and adults alike to come to select state parks and fish!
Eight state park waterbodies have been stocked with 200-300 tagged fish of all species. If you are lucky enough to land one of these awesome fish, you have a couple options.
You can remove the tag from the fish and bring it into the park office you caught it at, or take a picture of the fish with the tag still attached to the fish and show that picture to a park office employee. We also ask that you take a quick survey. This survey will be used to make this tagged fish program even better!
Once that is done, you will get a custom South Dakota State Parks Mepps Spinners! Please share your photos of your tagged fish with us on Facebook and Instagram.
Here are the locations of the tagged fish!
