Tundra Swan
Tundra Swans are the largest migratory bird hunted in South Dakota. Tundra swans breed in the high arctic and travel through South Dakota in late October to mid-November. Decoying and pass shooting are common hunting tactics. Swans are attracted to and readily come in to white decoys placed over water.
