Hunt

American Crow

American crows are found throughout South Dakota. They use a variety of habitats, especially open country and small woodlands. Crows gather in large, traditional roosts, and can become a nuisance. Their diet is diverse. The birds usually feed on the ground. Crows are sometimes hunted with crow and/or owl decoys. Electronic calls are legal for crow hunting. These birds are highly intelligent and can be difficult to coax into gun range.
