Birdwatching
South Dakota’s diverse landscapes provide a wealth of birdwatching opportunities. Our state parks are no exception. From dippers in the Black Hills, shore birds, terns and prairie birds in the central part of the state, to waterfowl in the northeast, our parks are well known to birders.
