Amsden Lakeside Use Area

Amsden Lakeside Use Area is a small, primitive-style park with a boat ramp, beach, and 11 non-electrical campsites. The Lakeside Use Area provides campsites that offer privacy and access to the 235-acre lake, while anglers enjoy both on- and off-shore fishing. The Lakeside Use Area is known for muskie fishing because of an old gravel pit below the lake surface, providing a depth of 27 feet. The state record Muskellunge weighing 40 pounds was caught at Amsden Lake in 1991.
