South Dakota Shooting Sports Complex

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Game, Fish and Parks South Dakota Shooting Sports Complex aims to be the premier firearms range complex in the region. Four hundred acres of rolling topography offer the perfect site for sporting enthusiasts within minutes of several surrounding communities. Organized in two separate areas (north and south), the complex offers a wide variety of options for all levels from hunters and recreational shooters to law enforcement training spaces and national shooting competitions.

Designed with safety in mind, the complex will offer families, youth groups, and the general public a world-class opportunity to participate in multiple shooting sports. There is plenty of room for beginners and experts to shoot side by side with facilities for education, outreach, and organized shooting competitions. The South Dakota Shooting Sports Complex is a celebration of South Dakota’s outdoor heritage and an invitation to what lies ahead for the recruitment, retention, and reactivation of shooting sports statewide.

We expect thousands of people to visit and utilize this shooting sports complex annually from South Dakota and across the nation. With your donation to support this project they will all see your name displayed throughout the complex. This project is a legacy project for Governor Kristi Noem and recognition of your support will last for generations to come.

PROJECT GOALS

  • To provide a safe designated place for people to go.
  • To create one complex that provides all amenities.
  • To layout the range so that it is well organized and flows nicely.
  • To build a range that supports the R3 Efforts: To recruit, retain, reactivate outdoor enthusiasts.
  • To build a community partnership project.
  • To design a complex that feels convenient, safe, and easy to use - just a few minutes from surrounding communities.

HOW TO GIVE

Please join us by partnering on this world-class project. Your donations to this effort are tax deductible. In addition to an immediate cash donation, we can accept a pledge for a future amount given in cash. This may include a multiple-year commitment with the first commitment often coming at the time of the pledge. Pledges are typically payable over a period of three-to-five years.

There are numerous opportunities to acknowledge individuals or organizations that donate. We are willing to discuss all options. In addition to naming rights and opportunities to display your company's sign or logo, we are offering exclusive access to the shooting sports complex and opportunities for private events.
