Fisher Grove State Park

Fisher Grove State Park offers a blend of historical significance and recreational activities. Named after Frank I. Fisher, the first permanent European settler in Spink County, the park encompasses a historic river crossing once used by Native Americans and later by the Watertown-to-Pierre stage line at Belchers Ford.
Visitors can enjoy camping with 22 electrical sites, picnicking, fishing, and access to the James River for canoeing and kayaking. Fisher Grove State Park is managed and maintained by the Fisher Grove County Club, which offers a ten-hole golf course adjacent to the park. For more information call 605.472.1336.
