Fort Sisseton Historic State Park- Celebrating 60 Years as a State Park! Join us for a celebration with events throughout the day PLUS an 1864 Baseball Game: Fort Sisseton Soldiers vs. the Colorado All Stars. The schedule of events are as follows: 12pm Public opening of the NEW exhibits "Looking Through the Windows of 60 Years of History" and "The Fort Sisseton Kids." 12:00pm-4:30pm Concessions, Living History Demostrations, Scavenger Hunt, Building/Tours, Kids Crafts. 1pm Dutch Oven Class "Cooking for the Family." 3pm Cake and Homemade Ice Cream Social. 5pm FORT SISSETON SOLDIERS VS. THE COLORADO ALL STARS. Cheer on the the Soldiers while they battle for the title in this 1864 baseball game. Britton's Lion's Club will be on site serving up a "Take Me to the Ball Game" type Concessions. All funds raised during this event will go towards building a playground at the Fort.
