June 1 is the first day to make campsite and camping cabin reservations for a Friday, Aug. 30 arrival, which is the Friday of Labor Day weekend. This applies to all state parks that take reservations except Custer, which accepts reservations as much as one year before arrival. Make reservations online at www.campsd.com or call 1-800-710-2267.
