December 1 – 31 Caching Through the Snow daily 9:00am – 4:00pm at the Main Visitor Center
While visiting Custer State Park for the Festival of Trees take part in our self-guided activity. Using geocaching skills, locate parts of an ornament that you will need to build your very own bobcat ornament at the visitor center. Start at the Visitor Center to check out a GPS unit. Then using a GPS, travel around the outside of the visitor center to pinpoint each cache using our coordinates and hints. Once all your building components have been found, return to the Visitor Center to assemble your ornament. 
A park entrance license is required to enter the park and may be purchased at the Park Office from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. during the week, or at the Visitor Center which is open 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In observance of the holidays the Visitor Center will be closed Christmas Day.
