First day of Spring Hike - Prairie Trail

Location: Prairie Trail Trailhead

Blossom by blossom, the spring begins and flowers will be your companion all the way. Join us as we celebrate spring as we hike along the Prairie Trail and look for signs of spring. This hike is about a 3 mile long and is considered a moderate hike. Participants should plan on taking 2-3 hours.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, as temperatures can be unpredictable. There is no cost for the hike, however, a park entrance license is required. For questions, please call the park office at 605.255.4515 or email CusterStatePark@state.sd.us
