Full Moon Hike
January 17, 2022 5:00 pm MST
State Park: Custer State Park
Location: Meeting at the Sylvan Lake Day Use area
Hiking at night is a completely different adventure than hiking the same trail by day!
Needles Eye Trail - We will be meeting at the Sylvan Lake Day Use area, then hiking along trail #4 and Highway 87 to reach needles eye and view the moon from this outlook and returning along the Highway.
This route will likely be snowy, and we recommend warm boots and jackets. The trail should be about a 2.5-mile round trip and will last a couple of hours.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us at the park office at 605.255.4515.
