Lake Alvin Fishing Challenge

State Park: Lake Alvin Recreation Area

Grab your pole and head to Lake Alvin Recreation Area for a self-guided fishing challenge. Complete one or more of the following challenges to be randomly selected to win a prize backpack. Option 1 - Fish Selfie - Catch a fish at Lake Alvin and take a selfie with the fish with Lake Alvin in the background, send your photo to goodearth@state.sd.us. Option 2 - No Luck Selfie - Take a selfie with your fishing pole with Lake Alvin in the background, send your photo to goodearth@state.sd.us. Option 3 - Pick up a bingo card at the Good Earth State Park visitor center, go to Lake Alvin to play bingo while you fish. Drop off your completed bingo card back at Good Earth. Three winners will be selected and notified the following weekend.
