Custer State Park Wildlife Station Visitor Center
The Wildlife Station Visitor Center is eight miles south of Hwy 16A on Wildlife Loop Road. The building began as the herdsman’s house and was converted to a visitor center in 1987. In 2017 the building was renovated again to better showcase the rolling hills of the mixed-grass prairie. Take a break from the Wildlife Loop Road to appreciate this unique building.
