The Outdoor Campus - West (Rapid city)

The purpose of the facility is to provide outdoor education experiences to youth and adults throughout western South Dakota and to serve as the headquarters for the Wildlife Division staff of the western South Dakota region.

The Outdoor Campus' mission is to provide education about outdoor skills, wildlife, conservation and management practices of South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks to all ages in order to preserve our outdoor heritage.

Hours:

Monday: 8 am - 5 pm

Tuesday: 8 am - 5 pm

Wednesday: 8 am - 5 pm

Thursday: 8 am - 5 pm

Friday: 8 am - 5 pm

Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm

Sunday: 1pm - 4pm

Closed holidays

Our 32 acres of trails and habitats are available to explore seven days a week, from dawn until dark.
