54th Annual Buffalo Roundup

Witness one of the last great events of the Old West: the Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup. Watch cowboys and cowgirls on horseback and park crews in pickups round up the 1,300 buffalo and drive them into the corrals. Following the roundup, watch park crews sort, brand and vaccinate the herd in preparation for the fall sale. Breakfast is available in both viewing areas and lunch in the corrals following the roundup. Park entrance fees are waived the day of the roundup.
