Geocaching in the State Parks

State Park: Fort Sisseton Historic State Park

Join us at Fort Sisseton for a fun on-your-own geocaching event! Three local State Parks have hidden some new geocaches for you to find. Start at Fort Sisseton where inside of the little library (on the North Barracks's front porch) you will find the geocaching packets. Inside of each packet you can find the GPS coordinates of the new caches along with some riddles to be answered. Travel around finding the new caches and answer each riddle. Once complete, return to Fort Sisseton and drop your answers off in the box next to the little library. Each correct answer sheet will be entered in for prizes! Starts at 10 a.m. on May 16. Riddles need to be turned in by midnight on May 17. This is Open House Weekend in the state parks, so entrance fees aren't required.
