Frequently Asked Questions for Lowrance Units

1. "I copied the files to my Lowrance I-Finder, but can't see the maps on my unit"
   
   ANSWER: I-Finder units can only use a 1 or 2 GB card.  Refer to your owner's manual or www.lowrance.com for your unit's memory card capability

2. "What information will I see on my GFP mapping program once I have it loaded onto my unit?"
   
   ANSWER:  Streams, lakes, roads, all public hunting areas (Bureau of Land Management, School and Public Lands, Walk-In Areas, Game Production Areas, Forest Service, etc.), cities and county lines.

3. "Do I need a special program to open these files?"
   
   ANSWER: No, the map files are in a compressed zip format for easy download from the web.  The files simply have to be extracted to a memory card.
